I have seen a lot of rechargable batteries in the market, but I think nothing tops this new product I've seen as I was checking out the web.
It's called the USBCell, and it would probably change the way you perceive rechargable batteries.

At a first glance, it looks just like an ordinary rechargable battery.
Well, then why would I blog all about it if it's nothing special? :)
What's so good about this product is that once the battery gets depleted, you can actually flip open the top,

then jack this baby on any available USB hub.

You only need 5 hours to get around 90%+ charge and this rechargable battery promises 1300mah of power. Users can also charge this battery using an NiMH charger (for around 7 hours) in case one does not have any available USB ports.
The USBCell comes in AAA, AA, C, and D...

As well as a rechargable 9V battery...

If you guys want to check out the product (and know more about it), check out their website at http://www.usbcell.com.

Well, I think if you have USB extensions (like those octopus connections we buy for our home appliances), then I guess there is no problem. The thing is, you can also charge your USB battery using any NiMH charger, so charging is not limited to your USB hub. :)

I haven't seen any USBCell yet here in the Philippines. :) I actually want one also but I have to order it from abroad.
I've never think of that.
The one who designed it is superb.
The problem, we can charge one battery per USB slot.
Now, it gave me an idea to have a device such that in one USB slot you may charge up to four batteries with charge indicators.
Got to study it...
