A Greener World?

littlelion | 20 July, 2007 18:59

Ever wonder what kind of greener world the Earth will be in the future? If what flashes on your mind is like Louis Armstrong's concept with "trees-are-green" in a "what-a-wonderful-world", I'm glad that you are very optimistic, but better see this...

From Household Clutter To Exponential Equations

littlelion | 16 July, 2007 18:31

For the last two days, it has finally come to my senses that I really have to clean my room. Supposedly, I should be spending my Saturday and Sunday with an early morning jog on the park or with my friends but this weekend, it was totally different. My room is in clutter: dirty clothes everywhere, books on the floor and other assortment of things that are needed to be organized. As expected, cleaning a room is a chore. I was sweaty, dirty and weary. I sat down to check what I have done so far. Looking around and realizing that everything seems in more order than before, the closet captured my attention. When I opened the drawer, guess what I found... this animal...

Video Games Can Be Good.

LordM | 13 February, 2007 17:41

"Don't play video games because it will make you violent!"

"Playing video games is bad. Period."

Ever since the dawn of Duke Nukem/Doom/Wolfenstein/Quake/CS, a lot of people (including your parents) say that playing video games is bad for you. Not only that, people have been "connecting" the violent actions done by some teenagers to various video games like GTA. Of course, there will still be people who don't really care and still continue to play their favorite video games as a form of catharsis.

If you say that everything about video games is just wrong, think again.

Your Personal Helicopter

Admir | 07 November, 2006 13:54

If flying is your thing, this might be a good start to appease that inner desire of yours: meet the Micro R/C Helicopter from Think Geek. It won't take out hours of your time just to assemble it together, nor will it crash right after it takes off the ground. It's small and light enough that it can use a person's palm as its landing pad. However, just like other RCs, the remote controller requires 8 AA batteries! Well, no matter, today's rechargeable NiMHs can go up to almost 3000mAh in capacity, and they're a whole lot more affordable too.

TIP: Go play Battlefield 2 first and experience some virtual copter flight training.

Cellphones and PDAs: Replacing Watches Everywhere

LordM | 29 August, 2006 16:38

I am a man of the future. I do not need to wear a watch anymore as I can easily look at the time with my nifty Nokia phone. Those who wear watches just wear them either to show-off or create a fashion statement. The concept of time will never be the same again...
