Looking like it came out of a carpenter’s refuse box and somehow got letters attached to its keys, the wooden keyboard featured on (Computer) Geeks.com, along with its bundled mouse, represents the pinnacle of woodworking design and utility. Or perhaps not.
Looks neat, to be honest.
This little bundle of wood is certainly unique, and thus will only appeal to unique people in unique settings, namely those who already have some kind of wood-themed room / setup or plan to make one in the near future. This naturally includes those who have a certain attraction to nature, al well as those inclined to the warm, natural colors of wood grain and brown varnish.

Gives new meaning to "plank".
For the compleat PC modder who has done the most extreme mods and want to try out something new, this bundle will complete their mod without any additional effort on their part except for a few mouse clicks. Also on the potential customers list are those who own or are planning to own Hanns-g’s new “Boston” LCD – an LCD with a wood-grain cabinet that looks surprisingly good despite the incongruity of the material used. Different strokes for different folks.

Regardless, this wood product will serve as a talking point for anyone who sees it, or at least make a (small) statement regarding the owner’s beliefs. Never mind that it probably harbors more bacteria per square mm than what most plastic keyboards does over their whole area. Then again, you can always shave away the top layer of wood to expose a new, cleaner layer below. How’s that for on-desk recycling?
