NVIDIA has given us DIYers the go signal to create our own Quad SLI boxes with the official release of their latest ForceWare 91.45 drivers. So what do else do you need to build a PC that can probably run your electricity bill as fast as your hot iron?
According to NVIDIA, you'll need:- Two (2) NVIDIA SLI-Ready GeForce 7950 GX2 graphics cards (Obviously)
- An NVIDIA nForce 4 SLI X16- or a new NVIDIA nForce 590/570 SLI-based motherboard (Yes! nForce 4 board users, rejoice!)
- An AMD Athlon FX- 62 or Intel® Core 2 Duo processor (if you're going for the best multi GPU , you might as well go with the best processor you can afford - whether you're an AMD or an Intel fan)
Don't forget to bag large a 32" LCD or a couple of 19" wide-format displays capable of 2560 x 1920 while you're at it!
