For six months, the members of MISA have collaborated to make this event a reality. Under the leadership of John Jerric Sy (Project Director 2006-2007), this event promises to be a memorable night of technology, music and fashion.
However, Synaesthesia is not without purpose. The proceeds of this event will go to the Build-A-Lab Project, the flagship project of MISA – the main beneficiary of MISA’s projects throughout the school year.
The Build-A-Lab Project was borne from MISA’s desire to help our underprivileged fellow citizens to empower themselves through the help of IT education. The project aims to establish a self-sustaining computer laboratory for a public school – consisting of hardware, software instructional tools, tables, and air-conditioning units. It is our hope that through this project, many people will unite to make a difference in the lives of more students in the country.
Like last September’s successful sold-out Rock U! Concert at Dish, ABS-CBN, Synaethesia is another endeavor of MISA in attaining the goals of the Build-A-Lab Project. Being a new project of MISA, Synaesthesia promises to be a breakthrough event this school year, one that has never been done by any organization inside the Ateneo, one massive and exciting event that would bring together modern technology through IT exhibits, great music, and trendy fashion styles. Come along and experience the magic of Synaesthesia, an event that would showcase the fusion of the past and the present - a mix of funky retro and modern future through technology, music, and fashion.
