LordM | 21 December, 2006 16:23

A little game of The Price is Right before we begin....

How much did these two items fetch on EBay?

Well?

After you have guessed, do read on and see how much these two items fetched on the ever dependable EBay...

I'd first like you to focus on this first product... The Wii Receipt.

From the writeup (and I quote):

You are bidding on original " Nintendo Wii " Best Buy Sales Receipt. Dated 11/19/2006. Receipt is from Best Buy Store#482, located at 60 West 23rd Street in New York,NY 10010. Please note i have crossed out with a blue pen my personal information on Receipt. Thanks and Happy Bidding!

The bid started at $1.00.

After 21 bids, it reached a whopping $451. Yes. 4-5-1 dollars. This product can be found on EBay and you can check the auction by clicking right here.

Okay, moving on...

Look at the product once again and read the description of the product...

Limited Time Offer!  Never been used New Official Nintendo Wii Box!

Still possible to receive by Christmas if bought now!

That's right, this is a New Nintendo Wii Box.  The box is from Costco and has never been used.  Nothing is included.

Today, you could be the proud owner of an Official Nintendo Wii box.  The Official Nintendo Wii box is in good condition. This box can be used to hold many things that will fit inside of it.  The box can also be used to impress your friends.  Tell them that you got a wii and show them the box.  As long as they dont ask to play it, you're in the clear!  The box can also be used as a good Christmas gift joke.  Get their hopes up on Christmas morning.  Capture the looks on their faces when they open up a gift only to see a wii box in there!  Then watch as their hopes crash and burn when they notice that nothing is inside!  The uses for this box are limitless and if the item goes for enough money, I'll even send it with something inside!  Note: The something will be newspaper.

Questions?  Comments?  Message me and I'll respond ASAP.

Due to high demand, no refunds will be honored.

This is for the box only, not the system.

After 23 bids, this Nintendo Wii box got sold for $426.67. The link for this particular product can also be found on EBay and can be seen by clicking on this link right here.

I found this line quite funny though:

The box can also be used to impress your friends.  Tell them that you got a wii and show them the box.  As long as they dont ask to play it, you're in the clear!

Okay, so all I have to do is to tell my friends that I got scammed and show them the box? LOL. Well, another scam brought to you by the writers here at Hardwarezone.

Happy Hoilidays!
