Talk about slacking off...
Isn't this a joy? A worker from a robotics facility gives the robotic arm from their office a spin... Literally.
Watch as his head is just a few centimeters away from being homemade salsa...
I welcome you, Hardwarezone readers, to the ride that I call...
The Risky Ride of Death!
Please, do not even try to do this to your idle robotic arm, I beg of you...

Do you often lose your USB Drive cap? Then this may be something that will give you a peace of mind for good...

PenDrive is proud to introduce the all new PenDrive Envo. “Envo” which derives from the word “En-vogue” means in-fashion. This tiny little USB drive is not only small, but it also comes with a cool sliding cap. More than that, the roundish back loop has a light that luminates when data is being transferred. The product also comes with a unique packaging, allowing you to re-use it however you want...

Want to have a desktop stationary organizer? How about a flower pot? Truly, the only limitation to the use of the packaging is your imagination... The possibilites are truly endless!
Cool isn't it? Anyway, the product will be available on March 2007, so better hold your horses first. :)

Christmas is over and the Philippines is starting to feel the warmth of Summer. In a couple of months, people will be flocking to various places all over the country. From the white beaches of Boracay, to the hot pools in Los Banos, each and every single one of us is sure to go somewhere to chill, relax, and unwind.
Of course, it is a given that during these trips, we will be bringing something to set the mood. I clearly remember last year when my family rented a house in Los Banos: my sister created a songlist in her iTunes named "Poolside," syncronized it (to her iPod), and played it while we were swimming. Of course, she had no choice but to bring her 2.1 speaker system along... It was big, bulky, and a little heavy, making this kind of speakers unsuitable for travel.
Hardwarezone Philippines recently obtained an MP3 portable USB Speakers that you guys will probably bring in your next outing. It's from Genius and is called SP-i202U....

Do you remember this cartoon hero?

His name is Optimus Prime and is the leader of the Autobots in the cartoon series Transformers. Now, what happens if you combine the iPod with the leader of the Autobots? You'll be quite surprised of the outcome...

Yes, everytime I go to a cake shop to buy a cake, this is what I ask them to write. Quite simple isn't it? All the person has to do is to get the piping and simply write the dedication down on top of the cake.
Of course, technology has a way of making things easier. In fact, there are even some bake shops that are starting to invest on "automated" machines that print your dedication and deliver in to your doorstep.
But, like any piece of equipment, there will come a time wherein things just get screwed up...
Take this cake for example....

Yes. Quite a catch indeed. Hardwarezone Philippines just obtained a lenovo 3000 V100 notebook from MSI-ECS. This notebook is powered by a 1.83Ghz T5600 Core 2 Duo processor and has 1 Gigabyte of RAM. It also has a 12.1-inch screen, integrated camera, and a biometric scanner for added safety and protection. The V100 is also Windows Vista capable, so those of you who want to move from Windows XP to the upcoming Vista will have no problems at all.
Moreover, a lot of ports can be found on both sides of the V100:
On the left side is a Kensington security lock, exhaust, a USB 2.0 port, a VGA monitor out, an ExpressCard 54 slot, a headphone and microphone jack, and a FireWire port. On the right side of the notebook are the power adapter jack, modem, Ethernet port, a 5-in-1 media card reader, a Wi-Fi on/off switch, and an optical drive.
If you want to read the full online review for the lenovo 3000 V100, then better check out Hardwarezone's First Looks section. Better yet, just click here so you can find out why we think the lenovo 3000 V100 is "quite a catch."
A disclaimer though: the V100 that we are talking about in this article is powered by an Intel Core Solo 1.66 Ghz T1300 processor and not the Core 2 Duo Model that we have in the office right now.
Lenovo is distributed in the Philippines by MSI-ECS. For more information, contact Wena Espera at (02)688-3804 or email wespera@msi-ecs.com.ph.

Remember that old softdrink commercial--back during the days of the remastered Star Wars trilogy, if memory serves? It's the one where this dude in the cinema goes "great effects, man!" while seeing the movie. (If I'm not mistaken, the scene immediately flashes a lightsaber-y color--with matching lightsaber sound effects, of course--then we see the dude's afro quite singed and cut in half.)
What? You don't remember that commercial? Oh well, never mind that then.
Check this out, instead:

If you were given given a chance to win something just by holding your pee, would you do it? Doctors all over the world have been telling us that if and when we feel like doing number 1 or 2, we should immediately do. This is because if we forcefully hold it at bay, there is a great chance that the toxic wastes get absorbed in our body, causing sickness or even death...
Apprently, these people don't listen...

We have long been hearing about technology being the next best thing. Technology has been changing our lives and people may have only noticed it with the emergence of computers. Computers are the tools in making this great advancement concrete. That is why the two biggest I.T. organizations of the Ateneo de Manila University, Computer Society of the Ateneo (CompSAt) and Management Information Systems Association (MISA), have joined forces to organize iTech - a conference on the latest trends and opportunities in the world of Information Technology.

I love my iPod. In fact, I am one of those iPod fanatics who buy (impulsively) tons and tons of accessories for it. Screen protector, silicon casing, earphone holder, and earphone silicon sound booster... You name it, I probably have it.
But lately, I have been looking for the one "accessory" that will make my purchase cycle complete. After asking around and after scouting, I figured that what I really want is an earphone from Shure (E2C). Problem is, it's just too darn expensive (PHP 5,200) and I just can't afford it now.
A good thing about technology though is that there will always be a product that will address almost any problem one may have... In this case, it is the problem of having a good audio output just by using the stock headphones alone.
