Eye-Fi Collaborates With Nikon on Eye-Fi Capable Camera
Digital Cameras/Camcorders | Just Announced

Manila, Philippines -- Eye-Fi, makers of the world's first wireless memory card for digital cameras, announces that it collaborated with Nikon Corporation to deliver enhanced integration of the Eye-Fi Card with Nikon's new D60 digital SLR camera.
Eye-Fi will also add Nikon's "my Picturetown" online photography community to its Eye-Fi Service as a photo
sharing option for users.

Nikon's D60 digital SLR will make it easier for photographers to wirelessly upload images using an Eye-Fi Card to their computer or favorite online photo sharing site. It's the first camera to be part of the "Eye-Fi Connected" program, an Eye-Fi initiative offering camera, media card and digital home device makers an easy means to incorporate the power of wireless connectivity and Web services into their products.

"Nikon has been on the forefront of embracing wireless photography and finding innovative ways for users to share memories," said Tadashi Nakayama, General Manager of Marketing for Nikon. "By working with Eye-Fi, we're making it easier than ever to save and share pictures without the inconveniences of wires and cables."
While the Eye-Fi Card works seamlessly with most digital cameras, the Eye-Fi-enhanced Nikon D60 will offer users an improved out-of-the-box experience. The new digital SLR will detect when an Eye-Fi Card is inserted
and automatically adjust its power timer settings to ensure that photos upload effortlessly for sharing and storing.

"This is our first announcement with a camera manufacturer, and it's exciting to work with such a prestigious innovator in traditional, digital and wireless photography," said Jef Holove, CEO for Eye-Fi. "Our work with Nikon is another vital step in our mission to make taking, saving and sharing digital memories as automatic and effortless as possible." Beginning this Spring, Eye-Fi will also offer users access to "my Picturetown," Nikon's online digital photo storage and sharing service. With the addition of my Picturetown, users will be able to upload photos to one of 20 online photo sharing, printing, social networking and blogging sites.

The Eye-Fi Card, which was recently named "Best in Show" at Macworld and won Yahoo! Tech's "Last Gadget Standing" competition at the International Consumer Electronics Show, and was demonstrated at the PMA.
