Creative Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Charity Drive

SINGAPORE, November 21, 2006 -- Creative Technology will be launching a special month-long event in Singapore – “25 Creative Years – The Celebration Sale” to celebrate its 25th Anniversary. The special celebratory event will be held from 24 November 2006 to 25 December 2006, and will comprise of an array of exciting marketing campaigns and promotions.

To kick start this very special occasion, there will be the much-anticipated Creative Warehouse Sale to be held over a 3-day period from 24 - 26 November 2006, followed by a series of fun-filled sales activities island-wide throughout the festive season, including SITEX 2006 which will be held from 30 November 2006 to 3 December 2006.

To make this special occasion particularly meaningful, Creative will launch the “Creative 25th Anniversary Lucky Draw” in conjunction with the “25 Creative Years – The Celebration Sale” to raise funds for charity. This Lucky Draw will be the highlight of the month-long celebratory activities. In this charity drive, Creative will donate S$1 for every S$25 spent by customers during the Lucky Draw period. The total donation amount will be based on the number of Lucky Draw coupons received by Creative at the end of the Lucky Draw period.

Taking lead in this charity drive, Sim Wong Hoo, chairman and CEO of Creative will donate his very own car, a Lexus LS430, as the grand prize for the Lucky Draw.

“For a quarter of a century, Creative has journeyed fearlessly through the ups and downs, thick and thin of this treacherous and challenging but nonetheless exhilarating ‘hi-tech universe’. It is definitely a good milestone and a very significant mark in history. We welcome everyone to celebrate our 25 Creative years with us.” said Sim Wong Hoo. “To mark this very special occasion, I will donate my personal car in the hope to involve Creative management and staff, as well as the public to raise more funds for this very innovative charity drive.” Fund raised in this charity drive will be donated to selected charity organisations for the aged.

At the same time, QMax, one of the operators appointed by IDA for the Wireless@SG initiative, will also be participating in this promotion and charity drive. QMax will be conducting a series of campaigns to sign up new subscribers for the free WIFI broadband service, as well as premium services, in conjunction with this event. Creative is a substantial shareholder of QMax.

The Creative 25th Anniversary Lucky Draw is open to customers of Creative Technology Ltd and the QMax group of companies within the period from 24 November 2006 to 25 December 2006. Customers are entitled to one Lucky Draw coupon:

For every S$25 worth of Creative products purchased at any of the Creative Stores and authorised participating dealers,
For every S$25 worth of QMax products and subscription services (with regards to subscription services, customers who sign up for subscription services will be entitled to one Lucky Draw coupon for every S$25 of their monthly subscription fees), or
For each unique subscription to the free Wireless@SG service provided by QMax.

Besides Sim Wong Hoo’s Lexus LS430 as the grand prize, more lucky draw prizes are also up for grabs including 25 units of Creative ZEN Vision W 60GB Portable Media Player worth S$699.00 each and 250 units of Creative ZEN V Plus 1GB, Creative’s latest MP3, photo and video player with built-in FM radio, worth S$179.00 each.

The Creative 25th Anniversary Lucky Draw will be conducted on 31 December 2006 and the draw result will be published in Creative’s advertisement in a major daily newspaper. Winners will be notified in writing by post on the collection of prizes. Prizes must be claimed within two months of notification, after which, they will be forfeited and donated to the selected charity organisations.
