ASUS Launches Radeon HD 7970 Graphics Cards with Custom Cooler - Finally!

Adopting the AMD Tahiti 28nm GPU, the ASUS HD 7970 DirectCU II TOP is one of the earlier cards to incorporate a custom cooler with their DirectCU II technology and features an overclocked engine clock speed of 1000MHz with 3GB GDDR5 video memory, which is also slightly faster than reference speeds.

Corbell's MSI Roadshow - Radeon HD 7970 and Big Bang-XPower II are the Stars!

ASUS Launches its New Graphics Card Featuring AMD Radeon HD 7970

ASUS has launched its new graphics card featuring the Radeon HD 7970 GPU. The 28nm GPU is coupled with 3GB of GDDR5 for high memory bandwidth requirements. The card is also one of the first to feature a PCIe Gen3 interface that will potentially remove data bottlenecks between the GPU and CPU.
