When it comes to the overall 3DMark Vantage score, it's more or less determined by your graphics card. The CPU score however told us how the processors fared, with the 980X surging ahead of the Sandy Bridge processors. The Core i5-2400 meanwhile narrowly beat the Core i7-875K, but was itself slower than the Core i7-975 Extreme Edition.
