Despite a meager 3% increase in results from overclocking the FX-60, it was still substantially slower than a true FX-62 processor that had a near 5% performance advantage. The Office Productivity's test suite was the predominant factor in giving the FX-62 a better overall score. The reason is similar to why processors with larger cache performed well in this area. Office Productivity's test suite is loaded with large ever-changing data sets that are very memory thirsty and the fast DDR2-800 memory on the FX-62 system greatly benefits from the extra memory bandwidth. If your real-world PC usage were as taxing and multi-faceted as SYSmark 2004 portrays, AM2's DDR2-memory support would certainly benefit you.
