Introduction and Specifications

Breaking away from Sony's usual line of design, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1 is currently the smallest Cyber-shot DSC model to be churned out by one of the leading manufacturers in digital cameras. Though small in stature and simplistic in appearance, it packs a punch with a hefty 5.0 million pixels count and has an impressive 2.5-inch LCD screen. To keep the design simple, Sony has done away with many on board camera features such as the viewfinder, tripod mount, and the Audio/ Video and USB connectivity ports. Instead, the A/V and USB connectivity ports are accessed through the provided cradle charger. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1’s new Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with a 3x optical zoom is designed to fit within the body of the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1 during shooting and storage. This is achieved by the folded optical zoom system that we have previously seen in the Minolta DiMAGE X-series.

Before we move on with the detailed aspects of the camera, here are the Sony DSC-T1’s detailed camera specifications:-
