Introduction

Following the success of their earlier IC7-G, ABIT is back with a more powerful motherboard offering based on the latest and greatest P4 chipset, Canterwood. This 875P board comes with more than the usual fare of features as it is truly made for the power user and overclocker in mind. We're sure most of you would have caught a glimpse of the OTES cooling solution in ABIT's range of graphics cards, so it wouldn't be a surprise at all to find OTES on the motherboard. The question of how it is applied, where it is placed and why it is needed will be answered and explored shortly in the following pages.

Besides that, ABIT has also revised some of the on-board motherboard features and it now comes with more support for future devices. In addition to that, the Serillel bracket has been replaced with something that's more interesting and probably quite useful. Known as Secure IDE, this bracket lets one protect data in the hard drive without any messy software installation or passwords.

Here's the list of items found inside the motherboard package :-
