DPS Comes To Canterwood

When Gigabyte first unveiled its Dual Power System on the GA-8INXP (Granite Bay) board, a lot of users felt it was a rather unique concept that satisfies the overclocker's need for a more stable system. It was indeed a rather innovative power delivery design that's aimed to ensure enough power was delivered to the CPU and that it will continue to support future power hungry processors.

Soon after that, Gigabyte began integrating this feature into most of their flagship models, which included the SINXP1394 (based on the SiS 655). Now with the new 875P chipset, a few of us wondered if it would ever make it to the board's design. Sure enough, Gigabyte never failed to amaze us with yet another DPS capable board for the Pentium 4 platform.

The new GA-8KNXP Ultra is Gigabyte's latest motherboard to hit town with a full array of features that's simply quite breathtaking. Packed with a lot of interesting and useful features, the GA-8KNXP Ultra's design is simply targeted for the super power user as those thinking to purchase this board would have probably planned to built their ultimate dream system.

Well, before we get down to all the juicy details, let's all take a moment and drool over the board's full technical specifications below :-
