Introduction

The name EPoX has always been synonymous with overclocking and most users would tend to agree that they have created some of the most overclockable products to date. Back in the days when overclocking was still very much of an art, EPoX was one of the few who started offering overclocking options in their product. Of course, how can we ever forget ABIT's Soft Menu III which had most of what power users need. However, users were constantly looking for an alternative to ABIT and EPoX was there to fill out that void.

Today, EPoX has built a name for itself in making quality products with good features and overclocking options. What we will be reviewing today is the EP-4G4A+ which is based on the Intel 845G chipset for the Socket-478 platform. Although it may look like just another board, this board offers you a lot more integrated peripherals than most 845G boards available out there today.
