ECS Xabre 400 (AG400T8-D64)

Introduction

The SiS Xabre 400 chipset was introduced not long ago and its performance was found to be on par or even better than the NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 as a whole. Unfortunately, SiS is seldom a brand that gamers would go for and although they had a wonderful graphics core that's cost effective enough for the general consumer, manufacturers often take the safer route with more well-known GPUs from NVIDIA or ATI.

Despite manufacturers bending over to either NVIDIA or ATI, ECS still had the guts to manufacture cards based on the SiS Xabre 400 GPU. As with most ECS products, value is the key to their success and the Xabre 400 card came with just the bare essentials - no surprise. Besides the card, you will get a printed User's Guide and a driver CD.
