Introduction

Remember the previous WinFast A250 Ultra TD ? That's based on the most powerful GPU on earth right now, NVIDIA's GeForce4 Ti 4600. Along with it, NVIDIA also introduced a slightly underclocked version which is based on the same core. The GeForce 4 Ti 4400 is a slightly inferior GPU that features all the latest technology found on the GeForce4 Ti 4600 but only running at a lower speed. Does that mean there's the chance of getting a Ti 4400 and overclocking it to Ti 4600 speeds? Most likely. We think it should be the next hot favorite after the GeForce3 Ti 200.

The WinFast A250 TD's core is clocked at the default 275MHz while the memory is also clocked at 275MHz (at DDR speed, it should be 550MHz). The card is basically built out of the same components as that of the A250 Ultra TD except for a duller stainless steel I/O faceplate and of course, a lower price. Judging from the core and memory speeds alone, it does seem that there's a good chance of overclocking them to the GeForce4 Ti 4600 default speed. If the elaborate heatsinks and fans are doing their job well, we should be able to overclock the card successfully.

Same set of connectors as its bigger brother (A250 Ultra). However, you'll be getting a plain stainless steel faceplate.

The Leadtek WinFast A250 TD uses Samsung's 3.6ns DDR graphics memory.
