Back at ATI's headquarters, her engineers are hard at work preparing the next generation Visual Processing Units (VPU) that's been somewhat overdue, but the industry as a whole is having high hopes when it makes its debut sometime next month. However, that's not stopping ATI from promoting and educating its channel partners and the end-users of its current lineup, technologies, the recent spate of mini product launches and its roadmap - and that's exactly what they set out to accomplish on the 26th and 27th August 2005 in Sydney, Australia. Held in the Showgrounds of Sydney Olympic Park, the first day was only open to the media and trade partners while the following day was open to the general public that drew crowds of more than 3,500 people. www.hardwarezone.com® also had a booth space down under, so here's a mini coverage of what took place at ATI's Product Launch:-

Greeting all users at the entrance of the exhibition show floor is ATI's famed mascot, Ruby.

If you haven't had enough of Ruby, the spacious hall had many walls lined with posters of her and ATI's reassuring tagline of providing The Ultimate Visual Experience.

A gift redemption counter filled with ATI's goodies and again we have Ruby(s) overlooking the counter. By the time you've gone through this ATI product launch, whether or not you can recite ATI's complete lineup, you are bound to be Rubilized, but we doubt anyone who attended would mind that.

These lovely ATI promoters were everywhere helping out at the show.
