Introduction
Cooler Master seems to have gone on a rampage of late, releasing a ton of new PC casings from updates to existing line-ups to brand new product families. While we're sure that the Centurions will be the highlight of many conversations, a privilege of their renowned reliability and affordable pricing, Cooler Master's true pride are their full aluminum Praetorians. Named after the Roman
cohors praetoria of old, the Praetorian casings are designed not only to hold your system, but to protect them and look good doing it.
After our slightly lukewarm reception of the new Centurion 54x series, we were slightly guarded when Cooler Master sent us the new Praetorian 732. However, we must say that Cooler Master's latest aluminized wonder left a lasting first impression. When Cooler Master first launched the original Praetorian (PAC-T01, which is basically a slightly modified ATCS-201) it looked rather simple, but was extremely practical in functionality for its time. Since then they've incorporated much of their own distinctive designs, projecting the Praetorian 732 as all style outside and all business inside. Good looks alone isn't enough to sway us, so read on to find out the finer points of the case and why we liked the Praetorian 732 so much.
