Enter Ennyah

Mention Ennyah Technologies to the typical consumer and more often than not, you are likely to get blank faces. After all, Ennyah has a relatively low profile in retail graphics for the region. Despite a diverse range of products from graphics cards to MP3 players to digital cameras, it has been largely overshadowed in the retail market by the more prominent, big-name vendors like ASUS, Abit, Gigabyte and MSI. From what we gathered, Ennyah's MP3 players seem to be better known than its graphics card business locally. As we have not had the chance to lay our hands on one of these Ennyah graphics cards previously, our impression of its products is vague and second hand at best. However, both our doubts and yours would soon be dispelled as we have managed to acquire the Ennyah PCX 6600, based on NVIDIA's GeForce 6600 GPU (graphics processing unit) for this review.

A rare guest in our lab today, the Ennyah PCX 6600.

As usual before we go into the review proper, here is a brief overview of the card's technical features.
