VIA K8T800 Pro (Socket 939) Roundup : ASUS A8V Deluxe
By Zachary Chan

Introduction

The second board in our roundup comes from the ever reliable ASUS. The A8V Deluxe (not to be confused with ABIT's AV8) has been labeled as the 'Expert's Choice For SOHO And Home Server' by ASUS. As one of the first generation motherboards to sport the AI series of technologies, the A8V Deluxe packs a mean feature set. Though you won't see Stack Cool on the board, the A8V Deluxe has the right to boast as one of the first boards with a bundled Wireless LAN Access Point. In fact, it remains as the only board in our VIA K8T800 Pro roundup to sport Wireless capabilities. Our previous reviews of ASUS motherboards have always proven them to be solid performers and at the very least, reliable. Let's have a look at what ASUS has in store for you before we go into further details on the A8V Deluxe.
