Intel 915P Shootout : MSI 915P Neo2 Platinum

The last board in our shootout is MSI's flagship Grantsdale motherboard, the MSI 915P Neo2 Platinum. If you found the previous 915P Combo wanting, MSI intends to sweeten the deal with the 915P Neo2 Platinum. By providing a better package as a whole, the board may just be the slice of cake that suits your taste.

Since MSI has updated the motherboard to revision 1.0B, we will be using this version for our shootout. Don't put too much thought to it however, since the only real major difference between revision 1.0A and 1.0B is the latter having official support for the Pentium 4 Extreme Edition (based on the "Prescott" core). Let's take a look at the specifications before going into the highlights.
