When it comes to design of notebooks, there appears to be one collective business theme that many manufacturers seem to employ incessantly for their entire range of notebooks. Generally, the design of notebooks hasn’t really changed with the trend of consumer electronics (C.E.) goods. Even as the line between PC products and C.E. gets fuzzier with each passing day, notebooks targeted for mass adoption haven't evolved much. Up till now, notebooks with funky designs were mostly penned for gamers and enthusiasts with deep pockets that account only for a small and niche market segment. With an increasing number of countries introducing IT learning into their education systems, notebooks are no longer working-class gadgets anymore. Even with this new form of subsidized learning set into motion, students are still seen lugging around notebooks that are styled in a serious business attitude.

Hoping to strike the right chord with these youngsters, Gigabyte has released their latest 12.1-inch Centrino notebook, the N203. The styling and color presentation adopted for the notebook are unquestionably directed at the younger crowd. Considering the crowd it’s targeted, Gigabyte has managed to keep production costs low and this can be seen from the recommended retail price set for the N203. Of course, we're not going to divulge the price right now. What we can tell you is that it's very competitively priced, so much so that we strongly recommend that you read through our review of this fine notebook.
