VIA K8T800 Pro (Socket 939) Roundup : ECS KV2 Extreme

The third motherboard in our VIA K8T800 Pro Socket 939 roundup is the ECS KV2 Extreme. While you may be left to guess the meaning of the moniker, we firmly believe it refers to the extremely long list of 'features' ECS touts. ECS has apparently taken the time to list and design a logo for every single item that they consider to be a feature. We have always thought manufacturers have gone feature crazy, especially with the numerous acronyms that we are already being force fed. Imagine being greeted with a list of more than 30 features on their main product page.

ECS has never been one to shy away from innovation and change. Some of their motherboards support some interesting technologies like the AGP Express PCI slot. However, when you read highlighted features that include 'Round Corner PCB - Rounded corners for strength and safety!', one starts to think, innovative marketing or trying too hard to showcase the board? You decide.
