Intel 915P Shootout : Foxconn 915A01-P-8EKRS

Introduction

Mention Foxconn and memories of the branding appearing on heatsink retention units, connectors and other miscellaneous motherboard components will probably come to mind. In fact, this has been the bulk of Foxconn Industries' business in the motherboard market. It was only recently that Foxconn ventured out with full retail units of their own. Foxconn has an impressive list of motherboards based the various LGA775 chipset solutions and feature five different variations based on the 915P Express alone. Among them, the 915A01-P-8EKRS is their premium model and it made its way to our labs in time to contend for out Intel 915P Express motherboard shootout. Let's have a look at the packaging and technical specifications first before heading in to detail.
