First Impression and Bundles

The GSA-5120D is toned in a milky white shade. This color gives the drive a clean and minimalist look. Front bezel design of the GSA-5120D is noticeably different from the one found on the internal version, the GSA-4120B. This move is a side step away from the common practice of inserting an internally mounted optical drive into a casing for the purpose of external connection. As with all things white, the drive will be susceptible to dirt and scratches.

The faceplate of the GSA-5120D is different from that of its internal version.

These are what you’ll find at the rear of the unit and a convenient power off switch is located here as well.

Three rubber slabs on each side help to keep the drive anchored in place when used in an upright position.

Don’t worry; it’s fully functional while standing on its side.

No visible soundproofing material at the mouth of the drive.

Same goes to the inner side of the tray as well.

Minus a writable media, everything is bundled in to get you started immediately

This is the interface you'll see when you insert LG's software compilation CD. The bundled authoring software is Nero Express version.
