Cooler Master's Casing Mainstay

In the ancient Roman legions, the rank of a centurion was the rough military equivalent of a captain in today's armies. Responsible for up to 80 men (contrary to popular belief, a Roman century consisted of 80 soldiers), centurions were the mid-level professional officers that effectively held the army together, heavily involved in executing directives from the top. In essence, they formed the core of the army. Now what has this history lesson to do with hardware, you ask?

Well, as some of you may know, Cooler Master has a few series of casings named after these Roman military designations. We have the Praetorian line, named after the elite Roman guards and hence appropriately enough, consist of some of the larger and more expensive casings from Cooler Master. Then there are the more affordable, entry-level casings of the Centurion series, which, like its actual Roman equivalent, forms the staple of Cooler Master's offerings. With attractive prices to complement its modern features, the Centurion series of mid-towers is probably one of its more popular casings and today we focus on its newest member, the Cooler Master Centurion 534.

While we can't exactly describe the Centurion 534 as plain and ordinary, it really does not stand out compared to more extroverted designs. Conventional and simple in looks, it does have quite a few of the conveniences that most quality casings have (and pampered consumers expect) these days.
