French Glam goes along with Snazzy Tech from Sony

With all the other competitors launching notebooks at the same time, Sony presented us with their bold and sexy CR and TZ series of VAIO notebooks with a blast at Singapore Vivocity's NAFNAF. And to add on to the nice festivities, the launch was hosted by Stephanie Carrington, a familiar face which you might have seen on the Sony Style show on AXN. This is all in line with Sony VAIO's 10th anniversary celebrations.

The host and the models were waiting to come out of the hidden stage with anxious media members waiting to take the first peek of the new Sony VAIO notebooks.

If you still remember, back in 1997, when the VAIO 505 series was launched, the industry was shocked by the slim and fashionable design in silver. That was when Sony acted upon its philosophy of harmonizing the finest technology in a designer package that would appeal to the consumer's inner emotions. So we were anticipating at this launch that Sony would retain that slim design and come out with one that would have a WOW factor - something that would thug at our heartstrings. And we were not disappointed.

First to be out on the stage were the glossy, eye-catching and vibrating colors of the Sony VAIO CR series. This new VAIO CR series aims to radiate individuality and personal style. Therefore, it arrives in Blazing Red, Indigo Blue, Luxury Pink, Pure White and Black, which is only complete with the special color-coordinated carrying case, mouse and matching wallpapers. This was also to create an emotional attachment to the notebook and instill a feeling of pride in the consumers for being seen with one of them. Each of the notebook features a high-quality sheen exterior which portrays an image of a carefully manicured nail or even a master crafted grand piano. It reminds a woman of a clutch bag which she'll take to a party or evening function, where she can show her personality through an illumination LED that would intuitively respond to the individual's usage pattern. For the men, it further emphasizes their status and owning this notebook sets them apart from the crowd.

Happy and attractive models pose for this pretty picture with the latest prized offering from SONY which is the VAIO CR series notebooks in the five available colors.

One of the slim models showcased the Sony VAIO TZ series black notebook, emphasizing its small size in comparison to her. We reckon this notebook would be a hit with the ladies.

Next up, models streamed in with the Sony VAIO luxury line, the TZ series. These notebooks are hailed to be the ones that emit an aura of luxury and were also designed to commemorate VAIO's 10th anniversary. This new luxury notebook series plays homage to signature technological and design elements from previous VAIO models, including the cutting edge cylindrical design of the VAIO 505 series. It is also the first flash memory-based solid state disk notebook in the industry. It comes in three colors of Gold, Premium Carbon and Black.

Having seen the models (pun intended), we are looking forward to having more varieties brewed from Sony for the VAIO series. And we're sure it will be a hit with consumers who want a trusty notebook whom they can 'connect' with. The following page lists the specs of both the notebook series, so be sure to check them out.
