ABIT's Booth - Part 1


At ABIT's booth, you can see a large poster promoting ABIT's yearly gaming event, ACON5.


The ABIT AW8 is based on the new Intel 955X chipset. Paired with the ICH7R, the board supports up to six SATA ports, 1394b (FireWire 800), dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN and 7.1-channel HD audio. You'll also find other unique ABIT features like OTES, Guru Remote, µGuru, Guru Clock and ABIT’s AudioMAX technology.


The ABIT AL8 is a sibling of the AW8 and it's based on the Intel 945P chipset paired with the ICH7R. You'll also find six SATA ports on this board, along with Gigabit Ethernet, 1394a and 7.1-channel HD audio.


The ABIT AX8 series is based on the VIA K8T890 chipset for the AMD Athlon 64 platform. This Socket-939 board comes with four SATA ports, three IDE channels (for six devices), 1394a and Gigabit Ethernet.


The ABIT KU8 utilizes the ULi M1689 chipset for AMD Sempron processors based on the Socket-754 form factor. It's a low cost board with basic features like SATA RAID, 1394a, Gigabit Ethernet and 5.1-channel audio.


The ABIT LG-80 series is based on the upcoming Intel 945G chipset paired with the ICH7. It's a micro-ATX board suited for smaller systems, but require basic features like 1394a and Gigabit Ethernet. It is also equipped with a 7.1-channel audio subsystem.
