First Impressions

Being awarded the “Best Digital Consumer Camera” by the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) of this year, we were anxious to discover what the camera had to offer. The most apparent external difference of the µ[mju:]400 from the µ[mju:]300 is the change from a silver accented sliding lens cover to a gold one. Both carry the same ultra-compact dimensions of 99mm(W) x 56mm(H) x 33.5mm(D) and weigh in at a mere 165g (without battery). The µ[mju:]400 with its retractable lens and relatively flat profile fits well into any men’s shirt pocket or ladies' handbag.
