Introduction

Previously reserved only for the more professional SLR lenses, Canon has chosen to hoist its newest digital prosumer camera onto a more serious playing field with the 'L' (Luxury) lens with flourite and ultra-low dispersion (UD) elements. Coupled with Canon's tested and proven DIGIC Image Processor for sharp and true-to-life images and fast processing speed, we foresee that the Canon Powershot Pro 1 could be a force to be reckoned with in the eight megapixel digital prosumer camera arena.
