Introduction
By now you would have already seen, or at least heard of, what an Intel Centrino Mobile Technology based notebook is all about and as well as its capabilities. The Intel Centrino Mobile Technology centers around the four principles of mobility that includes battery life, performance, thin and light form-factors, and wireless connectivity. We have already seen one of the smallest (and arguably the thinnest) Centrino Mobile Technology notebook in the IBM X31 - a testament to what the Centrino Mobile Technology is capable of. But today, we shall touch on another notebook that epitomized the form-factor side of the Centrino Mobile Technology as well - the sub-notebook Fujitsu LifeBook P5010.
The sleek silvered P5010 is based on the P-series of the Fujitsu LifeBook family, and is also one of the first few Centrino Mobile Technology based notebook to come with an Ultra Low Volt (ULV) Pentium-M processor. While it may not look to be the most powerful notebook around on paper, the P5010's sub-notebook form-factor does make it one of the most compact and lightest among other Centrino Mobile Technology notebooks.
An overview of the LifeBook P5010.
